In 1997, Sheila Johnson brought a small batch roaster to Ranier, Minnesota, and began employing the lessons taught to her by Ed Dunn of Dunn Brothers Coffee. North Woods Coffee Roasters was born. She served up her premium roasted coffee in her shop in Ranier called the Coffee Landing.

The local folks and visitors alike loved it.

A year later, Sheila expanded her operation to include the Rausher building in the main street district of International Falls, Minnesota. This popular coffee spot is called the Coffee Landing Metro and is now where all of the roasting is done.

In lieu of your ability to visit us at the Coffee Landing Metro in International Falls, we offer this site as a vehicle to provide you with what we believe to be the best coffee roasted in America. North Woods coffee is now available for your drinking pleasure at select resorts, restaurants, supermarkets and retailers in northern Minnesota.

• Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2004)
  The International Falls Area Chamber of Commerce gives this prestigious award to an outstanding business owner that has been nominated by another person in the community. Sheila Johnson received this award for the success of the Coffee Landing Metro. The presentation was held at the Holiday Inn in International Falls.
  
• Joel Labovitz Entrepreneurial Success Award, Emerging Entrepreneur (2004)
  Sheila Johnson was recognized as having the principal responsibility for growing a business. She was honored for her demonstrated initiative, success and creativity in developing and growing her business (Coffee Landing Metro). The presentation was held at the University of Minnesota Duluth Center for Economic Development.

All orders of coffee and other food/beverage items are final. Coffee Landing Gear may be exchanged or returned for refund to credit card (minus shipping costs) within 30 days of purchase. Clothing and/or hats must be in original condition (unworn & unwashed). A copy of your receipt of sale is required with all returns and exchanges.
